Allyson Harris joined her first rock and roll band when she was 14 and has been in many bands since then. Her varied bands over the years have included different genres, including jazz standards, swing, oldies, pop, and now, blues. Allyson and her bands have opened for or played with Bo Diddley, Koko Taylor, Cheap Trick, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, The Temptations, playing at the United Center, the Park West, The Riviera, the Aragon, and the 1996 Democratic National Convention at Navy Pier.
